Gus Goldsmith is a seasoned entrepreneur, real estate investor, and private lending expert with more than 40 years of experience. Born in Louisville and now based in Miami, he is one of the founders of HardMoney Company, built on the guiding principle: “When the banks say no, we say yes.”

Gus began his career in the consumer loan industry, where he successfully built one of Louisville’s largest independent retail stores before selling it in the 1990s. From there, he transitioned into private lending and hard money loans, applying his practical knowledge of real estate value and community needs. Known for his speed, reliability, and straightforward approach to underwriting, Gus has earned a reputation as the go-to lender for borrowers who need certainty when traditional banks cannot deliver.
